DOCUMENTATION AS CARE
Ryn is in the process of documenting and cataloging her body of work, Tension in Ease (spanning from 2016 - 2024). Through this process, Ryn is revisiting and reflecting on 8 years of work, using the digital camera to notice and reveal new relationships within her prints. To Ryn, this process is an act of care and appreciation towards her prints which hold space for rigorous self - inquiry and emotional release.
As she documents, she also writes brief, responsive texts to accompany her work. Ryn is compiling these revelations in a catalogue - style printed book available soon.
